Email only please
Hi everyone. Right now they are working really hard to get my dad's pain under control. At this time we would all appreciate holding off on phone calls and visits. Family is even limiting their time right now while they try to figure out how to help dad's pain. Please respect this and refrain from contacting them. Email is amazing because it lets them know you care, but doesn't cause any stress. Jeff, we so appreciated your comment and shared it with dad. Thank you.

Thanks for the heads up on the phone calls. I confess that Ron's on my speed-dial, and it's automatic for me to punch his number when I haven't had a chance to talk with my dear friend for a couple of days. I totally understand the need to do the written thing.
I want all of you Carey's to know that I am thinking of your family all the time. I pray daily for Ron, but also for Kathy, Tiffy,Tory, Michael and Aaron and your loved ones in your lives...AND for Betty, BC and triple C. Ron is fortunate to have so many amazing people who love him...but you are all REALLY fortunate to have that amazing guy to love too!

Tell Mr C. we just finished our first b-ball season. My little girl was missing a lot of lay ins and I threaten to come to her school and make her practice at reccess and lunch! After I said it, all I could do was smile. Yes, he made me do that and often! But as I told you, he made me the athelete I was!

I just discovered Ron's blog today. He was a fraternity brother at Oregon State, a roommate of mine for a time in college, and I remember him as a wonderful guy. I am praying for him during this difficult time. Blessings to you, Ron--
